Adult CANSail Learn To Sail – Dinghy
CANSail is designed as a progressive set of standards focused on a foundation of core sailing skills. Each CANSail level has a checklist of associated skills that must be consistently performed by each sailor to achieve certification at that level. A sailor progresses thru the levels of consolidating knowledge and experience over time.
CANSail 1 thru 4 introduces fundamental sailing skills. As the first step in learning to sail a small boat, you’ll learn about the different parts of the boat, and learn some basics sailing skills – like tiller steering and proper body position.

The adult learn to sail program is a “low pressure” approach to sailing that combines classroom sessions with on the water time with dinghies.
